Diamond Jubilee Tea Towels
With the Diamond Jubilee celebrations well under way for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the II with events taking place almost weekly, we are fast approaching what will be a fantastic 4 day long weekend of celebrations and parties during the first week in June.
School, clubs, villages, businesses and Local Parish councils around the country will be giving out gifts and souvenirs to children, staff and members or clubs or village residents. As part of our range of Diamond Jubilee commemorative gifts which range from school giveaways like mugs, pens, teddy bears, bookmarks, coins and drawstring bags we have also put together a selection of Diamond jubilee souvenirs suitable for the older and more traditional generation like china mugs, thimbles and our very own designed Diamond Jubilee tea towels which are manufactured here in the UK.
Manufactured from 100% quality cotton and printed here in the UK, these Diamond Jubilee commemorative tea towels are red with the official Diamond Jubilee emblem in the middle and a crown and diamond design set in each corner. Made in a generous size of 76 x 47cm with an approximate weight of 200grm per square metre these are a quality souvenir tea towel which befits a fantastic occasion.
Available as a standard tea towel or as a personalised tea towel where you have the option to overprint ideally in black or white in 1 colour with a logo or commemorative text making these an ideal souvenir gift. Delivered in a cellophane wrapper these tea towels are ideal for gift shops selling on to the general public as souvenirs.

Diamond Jubilee Pens
Having designed and manufactured many of our products very early for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee we were conscious of being able to supply a few products which would be suitable for teenagers or adults as most of our printed commemorative gifts are geared towards children.
One of the products we decided to concentrate on was Diamond Jubilee commemorative pens which could be used by this type of age group. We looked for a heavyweight ball pen which had a relatively large print area where we could print the Diamond Jubilee emblem on one side of the barrel and a commemorative message on the other ideally in silver. To print in silver and to make this product blend in with the Royal theme we needed the pens to be available in both red and blue.
The pen we chose has all these attributes and comes in an elipse shaped gift box which befits a splendid Diamond Jubilee Souvenir. These would make great commemorative gifts for secondary schools, colleges, universities, businesses and Local Parish councils.
For anyone wishing to purchase these fantastic Queen’s Diamond jubilee pens the option to have their own message or logo on them makes them an extremely attractive option for a gift. Any personalisation on these would replace the commemorative message on the opposite side to the official Diamond Jubilee emblem.
These are available from a minimum of only 100 pens with a personalised message and any amount as a standard commemorative or souvenir pen. The printing in silver matches the silver trim on the pens which incorporates the clip, nose cone and 4 silver coloured rings around the middle of the barrel and comes with a twist mechanism, all in all a truly classy item.

Star Promotional Highlighter
Promotional highlighters and highlighter pens are one of the most popular promotional items around and as such are sold in hundreds of thousands every month in the UK alone. They have proved time and again that they are a great advertising tool and can be handed ut freely due to the relatively low cost.
Useful for any type of business these printed highlighters are available in many shapes and sizes. One of the most popular designs is the triangular shape with three different coloured nibs and is now manufactured in black which is unusual as most are only available in white. These can now be printed in full colour which opens up a whole new dimension in the advertising industry.
Other popular shapes are the star shape, petal, splat and hand shape all with five different coloured nibs. These different shapes can be applied to certain industries and make it a lot easier to bring out a message on the item. Another popular highlighter is the pyramid one containing four nibs with new designs come out every year.
As well as these there are numerous highlighter pens which can have a nib at either end such as the duo highlighter or sometimes can incorporate a pen or post it sticker, the choice really is endless.
One of the really good points in these promotional items is that they are quite often multi-coloured having different coloured nibs making them extremely attractive, ensuring it is quite easy to blend corporate colours in to any message or logo by printing a particular highlighter which has a similar coloured nib.
Many of these highlighters are now available on a 5 day service making them a great promotional product for those quick turn arounds.

Diamond Jubilee Portrait Mugs
Gifts 2 Impress are a major supplier of Diamond Jubilee earthenware and china mugs which are being produced to commemorate the Queen’s 60 years of reign on the throne. This is a massive achievement and something that we won’t see in our lifetime again and probably not again for centuries to come. This is exactly the reason why the whole country is taking the opportunity of this great feel good factor and looking to enjoy parties and celebrations up and down the United Kingdom and indeed throughout the whole of the Commonwealth. Local Parish Councils, Schools, Nurseries and Street Parties are being arranged now so don’t miss out with the mementos of this fabulous occasion, it brings us all together as we meet new friends and neighbours we never knew we had.
So which mug is best? Really it’s down to personal choice, many folks are traditional and prefer a portrait of the Queen herself, which is exactly why we have named one of our mug styles the Portrait mug. The mug has a lovely clear image of the Queen and is a good size and very serene edged with a delicate one colour filigree design border to set it off. The script text includes everything that needs to be said regarding the Queen’s name, and the celebration is the Diamond Jubilee from 1952 – 2012.
To complement the front design of these particular Diamond Jubilee commemorative mugs the back also has standard text with the EIIR initials at the top. For those who would like to add their own personalisation we take the back print away and add your own personal message or logo. This can be done in any font requested, although many do like to say with the script text as the front design. If this is something you feel may be suitable for you and it would help to see a visual, call us or email the text you would like and we will show you how it could look.
The design it’s self is also available on both bone china and earthenware mugs, therefore if it is more for the display cabinet then china looks great otherwise the earthenware is an alternative option if budgets have to be considered – in each case they are both lovely items.

Diamond Jubilee Personalised Plastic School Mugs
With the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee going ahead this year many celebrations are in planning with Local Councils, villages, organisations and schools having celebrations and parties with many looking to give out Diamond Jubilee souvenirs to the children as a momento of this fantastic occasion.
These days there are lots of different gifts suitable for children which includes Diamond Jubilee commemorative coins, rulers, pens, drawstring bags and Diamond Jubilee commemorative mugs which have long been a favourite over the years. Most styles of mugs are suitable for most children, however for really small children such as nursery age children Diamond Jubilee plastic mugs could be more appropriate as they are very child friendly.
Almost unbreakable these mugs will not smash if accidently dropped and are very easily picked up having a large D shaped handle as well as having a large flat base which makes them less likely to be spilled or knocked over when putting them on to a table.
These particular styles of Diamond Jubilee mugs are printed on both sides with the official Diamond Jubilee logo printed in 2 colours, black and grey, with the option to have this printed on only 1 side and personalised on the reverse with a school, Local Parish Council or village logo along with any appropriate message. This makes the gift a lot more sentimental and therefore will kept for years to come and shown to their children.
Why not take a look at these Diamond Jubilee acrylic mugs as a viable option to the more popular ceramic mugs which could easily break being handled by small children. With safety in mind these will prove a big hit with the parents and will give the children a reminder when they are older of where they were at that time of their lives.

Cambridge Diamond Jubilee mugs
The official Diamond Jubilee logo or emblem was designed and drawn by a young 10 year old girl from Cheshire called Katherine Dewar who won the competition launched by Blue Peter in conjunction with Buckingham Palace. The logo which is mainly in red, white, yellow and blue is colourful and appealing to children includes the wording Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the figures 60 depicting the 60 years our Queen has reigned.
This design is sure to be a favourite with Schools, Parish Councils and Villages looking for Diamond Jubilee Commemorative gifts to give to the local children as a souvenir to keep. At Gifts 2 Impress we have incorporated this logo on to quite a number of products like bookmarks, commemorative coins for schools and pens which would be suitable for children and none more so than the ever popular mugs.
These Diamond Jubilee schools mugs are available in either earthenware or bone china in three styles of mugs which are the Cambridge or Sandfield in earthenware or the Marlborough in bone china. All these mugs can be personalised on the reverse which again makes them appealing to schools as we can print their school logo and a commemorative message on which gives the Diamond Jubilee souvenir mugs an added appeal and will therefore be kept and cherished for years.
These mugs can be over printed up to 3 spot colours and for those with a more complex logo we will consider printing more colours dependant on the complexity and for those who do not want or need to add their logo to the back then we can supply the mugs with the official logo on both sides which can also help when working to a tight budget as this would save money not having to overprint them.

Personalised leather folders
At this time of year many companies like to give a gift to their employee’s as way of saying thanks for their commitment and loyalty and one of the most popular gifts at this time of year is a conference folder which can be personal yet useful to them in their work.
When giving a gift some companies want to make sure the gift they are giving portrays the quality of the company especially if it is going to be used in business and represent them which is why leather conference folders are most sought after. As well as being a gift to their employee’s they are also given to clients as a thank you for their business over the past year.
There are many styles and variations of personalised leather folders whether a plain conference folder is sufficient or a calculator is essential or whether a ring binder to hold documents in needs to be thought about. The choice is endless, a pen holder, a USB holder, a business card wallet, zipped pockets or zipped folder or a pad for writing, all these things need to be assessed before purchasing.
Other considerations are what kind of personalisation would you prefer on the folders. Many people like them to be silver or gold foil blocked but a sometimes classier look can be embossing which is puts an indentation into the leather.
As with any kind of corporate gifts a main consideration is the cost and therefore the kind of leather these folders are manufactured from can make a great difference in cost. The lower end of leather conference folders are bonded leather ones which are made from scraps of leather which are then bonded together right through to fine cell leather and nappa leather and even bespoke top of the range leathers which are usually made to order.

Diamond Jubilee Regal Mugs
The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee is fast approaching and without doubt from the enquiries being generated momentum is definitely building even before Christmas. At Gifts 2 Impress we have on offer one of the most comprehensive range of Diamond Jubilee Mugs on the Web. Amongst the range is a fabulous souvenir mug which we have named the Regal design.
The Regal design mug is available in three different styles, therefore affordable to all budgets and suitable for all tastes. Firstly the Regal is available in bone china and this very elegant style of mug is called Windsor mug – quite apt for the Royal family. It has a lovely shaped scroll type handle and is great for everyday use as well as a great souvenir should it be kept on display.
The other two styles available of these Diamond Jubilee commemorative mugs with the Regal design are both earthenware and there is a choice of the Durham which has the larger ‘D’ shaped handle and the other style is the Sparta where the handle has a much more defined shape, probably being the most popular everyday promotional mug selected by businesses for advertising.
To balance out the beautiful portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the reverse of the mug is available as a standard design with script style commemorative text showing the Diamond Jubilee and the dates the Queen has reigned, the E II R initials are also at the top to finish off the design. Having said all that for any organisation or schools wishing to give out Diamond Jubilee commemorative gifts with personalisation we would remove the back text and print on there a logo or text which meets the needs of the client but still keeps within the guidelines of the Palace, i.e. we are not permitted to advertise any businesses on the reverse of a Jubilee mug as they are purely for commemorative purposes only.

Diamond Jubilee Portrait Mugs
With the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee fast approaching many local parish councils are starting to organise village celebrations all around the UK. As part of these celebrations which include anything from street parties, picnics, carnival style parades, dinner dances and children’s games many will want to hand out a Diamond Jubilee Souvenir or commemorative gift to mark the occasion.
There are lots of Diamond Jubilee commemorative gifts out there which are designed specifically for the children’s market and as such many of the Diamond Jubilee mugs are the same, especially as the official Diamond Jubilee logo is a child’s drawing. Here at Gifts2Impress we have one of the largest selections of Diamond Jubilee commemorative mugs which is designed to suit people of all ages and as such have quite a number of designs including images of the Queen and coat of arms and one particular design is a portrait style mug available in two style of earthenware and one in bone china.
The front of this particular style shows an up to date image of the Queen on a blue background surrounded by an oval rope design with the commemorative text Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 above and below Diamond Jubilee 1952 – 2012. Available as a standard mug with a commemorative verse on the back or as personalised Diamond Jubilee souvenir mugs which can be supplied with a school, church, local parish council or sports organisations logo or details on the back.
These Diamond Jubilee portrait mugs are ideal for local parish councils or church organisations where the older generation might prefer to have a traditional style mug. For those wishing to make their mugs extra special why not have your Diamond Jubilee china mugs decorated with a gold gilding around the rim or a gold flash on the handle.

Diamond Jubilee Coins for Schools
With the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee fast approaching many schools, parish councils, and villages are preparing themselves for celebrations in the first week of June when we have all been given an extra days holiday to add on to the late May bank holiday which has been put back a week so we can all enjoy a long weekend of 4 days including the Saturday and Sunday.
Celebrating 60 glorious years reign is a once in a life time occasion, indeed this may not be seen again for centuries. People all over the country and from overseas will celebrate this momentous occasion with street parties and events planned over this long weekend and throughout the year.
There are numerous Diamond Jubilee gifts and souvenirs on the market as most people traditionally welcome a commemorative gift to which they can cherish and hand down through the generations. Traditionally school children have been given a gift to commemorate the event and as such we have designed and commissioned our very own Diamond Jubilee coins for schools and villages to give out as a commemorative gift.
These Diamond Jubilee souvenir coins have been designed with the official Diamond Jubilee emblem on which was drawn up by a young girl from Cheshire who won the competition. Above the official logo we have the text Queen Elizabeth 11 and below we have the dates 1952 - 2012. On the reverse we have an outline border with a plain inner which gives the option for each school to personalise them by engraving their logo, details or maybe just a small commemorative phrase like “Presented to the Children of (school name)” which gives the coin a memorable meaning for years to come as pupils look back years down the road.
These unique Diamond Jubilee commemorative coins come as standard presented in a black velvet pouch with the option to upgrade to a Perspex box which makes the coin more presentable showing off the antique finish in all its glory.
